By accessing or using the DataScreenIQ API ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
DataScreenIQ provides a data quality screening API that accepts data payloads via HTTP, performs statistical analysis and schema comparison, and returns quality verdicts (PASS, WARN, BLOCK) with associated metrics. The Service operates on Cloudflare's edge network and processes data in-memory without persistent storage of raw payload data.
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys. You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
You agree not to:
The Developer tier is free. Paid tiers (Starter, Growth, Scale) are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel at any time through the Stripe billing portal; your paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice to your registered email address.
DataScreenIQ does not store raw payload data. All processing occurs in-memory at the edge. Only aggregated quality metrics (schema hashes, null rates, type statistics, health scores) are retained. See our Privacy Architecture for full details on what is and is not stored.
We target 99.9% uptime for the API. The Service runs on Cloudflare's global edge network. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and are not liable for downtime caused by Cloudflare infrastructure issues, scheduled maintenance (announced 48 hours in advance), or force majeure events.
DataScreenIQ provides quality signals on a best-effort basis. The Service uses statistical sampling and probabilistic methods — it does not guarantee detection of all data quality issues. You are solely responsible for decisions made based on our quality verdicts. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DataScreenIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues.
The Service, including its algorithms, documentation, and design, is the intellectual property of DataScreenIQ. Your use of the Service does not grant you any ownership rights. You retain all rights to the data you submit to the Service.
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You can delete your account by contacting app@datascreeniq.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, your API keys are revoked and retained data is deleted within 30 days.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered address at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
For questions about these terms, contact us at app@datascreeniq.com.
